Certifications and quality assurance
Our documented certifications and the microbiological standards our vanilla is held to.
Certifications
- Halal
- Certifies that production contains no alcohol or animal-derived processing aids. This is what allows our water-extracted, alcohol-free vanilla extract to be supplied into Halal food production.
- PIRT
- Indonesian home-industry food production permit, issued by the district health authority. It confirms the facility is registered and inspected for food production.
- ISO 22000
- Food safety management system certification, covering hazard analysis and traceability through the production chain. It is the certification most often requested by regulated retail buyers.
We do not currently hold a third-party organic certificate such as USDA Organic or EU Organic. Our cultivation practices are organic in method, but that is not the same as certified organic. If your buyer requires the certificate, please tell us early so we do not waste your time.
